The HK45 originated being a product advancement of the well known USP45, first introduced in 1995. The Caliber .45 ACP HK45 incorporates many user-inspired improvements such as changeable grip panels (backstraps), a Picatinny MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail, greater ergonomics, and a lot more ambidextrous controls.
