Holsters : The "Prospector"

The
"Prospector" - Model 1865
The Prospector double holster rig is a direct descendant
of the "California" pattern holsters invented
during the 1850's Gold Rush. Its triple recurve (cut down
on both sides and front) allows the shooter instant access
to the trigger and hammer of the revolver. This was a necessity
in the lawless and dangerous mining camps of California.
Originally made to fit black powder revolvers, the Prospector
is now Belt & Holster may be purchased separately. Available for Colt single actions, Ruger Vaqueros
and some black powder revolvers.
The Prospector rig is beautiful handtooled in a floral pattern
typical of the Old West and has a three piece engrave buckle
to match. This is one of Kirkpatrick's finest Old West Reproductions
and truly a piece of Western history.
Belt & Holster may be purchased separately. Available in black, brown or tan.
