Browning

Browning Arms Company was founded in Ogden, Utah, in 1878. It is currently a fully owned subsidiary of FN Herstal. Most of it’s firearms are made in either the United states, Belgium, Japan, or Portugal. One of Browning’s best known firearms is the Browning Hi-power. It was introduced in 1935. It was able to hold 13 rounds, which was twice the capacity of other common pistol. Therefore making the browning Hi-power the first true high capacity pistol. The Browning Hi-power is currently the standard sidearm for Australian and Canadian armed forces. It was also one of John Browning’s last designs and it’s an excellent pistol.

Browning holsters

We have been changing designs and regularly improving our Browning holsters. Most of our belt holsters for the Browning models have a slight FBI cant that helps narrow the profile of the gun. This makes it more concealable. Some holsters also feature a reinforced top so they remain open for easy re-holstering. We have a variety of styles to choose from.

We have been proudly making our custom holsters right here in the great state of Texas, since 1950. All our holsters are custom made from high quality American leather.

How our holsters are built

We start by cutting from the best part of the hide.  We then hand dye the holster to ensure a rich deep color that will accent your firearm.  All our holsters are sewn using seven cord bonded nylon thread and double stitched in all critical areas.  Each holster is then hand molded for a perfect fit and contoured to the hip for comfort. The edges are then sanded and hand burnished to a smooth glossy finish.  This helps prevent moisture from entering the edges of the leather.  They are then polished and finished with a clear coating to protect the finish. Our concealed carry designs secure your firearm while still providing instant access when needed. Our holsters are built to last a lifetime.
